Delivery:
- September 22, 2013 - Pamela Calore and other BORDER ANGELS volunteers deliver Comforter Art Action Blanket # 101 and others to a relief campsite for displaced people living in and around the canels in Tijuana, Mx. The site has been supplied with tents from relief organizations in San Diego and Tijuana. The event brought together volunteers and activists who were honouring the recent and untimely passing of Micaela Suacedo, a local woman who had single-handedly set up the migrant shelter -now called "Casa Refugio Micaela". About half of the blankets in this Tijuan-bound shipment were taken to the shelter and the other half were distributed out of doors to the people living at this camp. Pictured are Henrique Morones from Border Angels and Hugo from Casa Migrante in Mexicali.
