Participants and contributors to Comforter Art Action each receive a hand-printed 16" fabric patch bearing the "Princess City" graphic.
Comforter Art Action was a collective action project hosted by Lois Klassen from 2001 to 2018. Since the start, 100s of people have contributed textile art squares, fabric, or their time. Many artists and children and sewers have gathered to cut and sew squares, as well as to knot the blankets in sewing circles.
A special thank you goes out to Moberly Arts & Culture Centre in Vancouver who supports this project by providing meeting space and storage of the Comforter Art Action fabric stash.
